Foam Tubing & Rods
Tubing is slide-on protection for anything round or long: pipes, tubes, handles, rails, and machined shafts. IPS supplies closed-cell PE tubing plain, slit for snap-on application, or slit with adhesive for permanent placement — plus solid rods for gap filling and cushioning cores.
Diameters and wall thicknesses are matched to your part, and every profile cuts to the length your line needs.

How do I spec tubing for my part?
Give us the part's outside diameter — tubing ID should match it or run slightly under for grip. Wall thickness follows the protection level: ¼" for scuff protection, ½"+ for impact.
What's the difference between slit and plain tubing?
Slit tubing snaps over a part already installed or assembled; plain tubing slides on from the end. Slit with adhesive closes back around the part for permanent placement.
Do you stock standard sizes?
Common pipe-protection sizes run on standing programs; custom diameters cut to order with short lead times.
