About us
The protection of your product is our mission
IPS has engineered and manufactured custom foam packaging in Tijuana, Baja California for more than a decade.
For over ten years, IPS has been the foam behind products that ship — furniture and appliances, electronics, medical devices, automotive components, and the everyday freight of one of North America's densest manufacturing corridors. What began as a Tijuana foam fabricator grew into a full engineering-and-manufacturing operation: design, prototyping, CNC and die cutting, and lamination under one roof.
Our location is our advantage. Tijuana sits directly on the US border, 25 minutes from downtown San Diego, surrounded by 600+ maquiladoras — the largest medical-device manufacturing hub on the continent. For US buyers, that means Mexican production economics with US-market logistics: your foam is made a short drive from California and ships anywhere in the country, USMCA duty-free.
We work in English and Spanish, quote in dollars, and treat samples as the contract: you approve a physical part before production, and its IPS part number guarantees every reorder matches it.

How we work
What IPS stands on
IPS was built as the critical link between raw foam suppliers and the manufacturers who need protection engineered — not just foam cut. Every project starts with the product, its fragility, and how it ships.
CNC wire cutters, hot-wire and vertical cutters, die-cutting, and lamination — fabrication happens on our floor in Cerro Colorado, Tijuana, not through a broker's supply chain.
Ten-plus years serving Baja's maquiladoras and Southern California means cross-border logistics, USMCA paperwork, and bilingual engineering are our daily routine, not an experiment.
Our catalog SKU system encodes form, dimensions, and material into every part number — so the part you approved is the part you receive, on every reorder.
