IPS Package

Capabilities

A complete foam converting plant, one border away

Engineering, cutting, laminating, and sampling under one roof in Tijuana, Baja California — more than a decade serving manufacturers on both sides of the border.

Engineering

Packaging Design & Development

Protective packaging starts with engineering, not cutting. Send us your product, a drawing, or a damage problem — we design the pack around it: material and density selection, cushion thickness, cavity layout, and how it all fits your box or case.

  • Material & density selection matched to product weight and fragility
  • Cavity and insert design from drawings, samples, or the product itself
  • Damage and returns diagnosis — we redesign packs that are failing in transit
  • Cost-down redesigns of existing foam packs
  • Bilingual engineering support, English and Spanish

Fabrication

CNC Wire, Hot-Wire & Vertical Cutting

Our CNC wire cutters carve complex contours and cavities directly from CAD — no tooling, so prototypes and low-volume runs are fast and economical. Hot-wire and vertical cutters handle sheets, planks, blocks, and straight profiles all day.

  • CNC wire cutting from CAD files — complex shapes with no die charge
  • Hot-wire cutting for smooth EPS and PE shapes
  • Vertical and horizontal cutting for sheets, planks, and blocks
  • Tight, repeatable tolerances run after run

Fabrication

Die-Cutting

For repeatable shapes at volume, steel-rule die-cutting is the economical path: one die, thousands of identical parts. We produce and store your dies, so reorders run without tooling charges.

  • Steel-rule die-cutting for high-volume repeatable parts
  • Kiss-cut and through-cut capabilities
  • Die storage and management — tooling charges waived on reorders
  • Best per-piece economics from roughly 1,000 pieces up

Fabrication

Lamination & Assembly

When one layer isn't enough, we laminate: foam to foam for thickness and multi-density pads, foam to corrugated for structure, and pressure-sensitive adhesive backing for peel-and-stick parts.

  • Foam-to-foam lamination for custom thicknesses and multi-density builds
  • Foam-laminated corrugated pads and liners
  • Pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing
  • Multi-part assembly and kitting

Service

Quotation, Sampling & Production

Every project moves through the same disciplined loop: quote, sample, validate, produce. You approve a physical sample before production money is spent — and reorders reference your IPS part number, so the part you get is the part you approved.

  • Quotes typically within 48 hours
  • Physical samples before production commitment
  • Catalog part-number system for unambiguous reorders
  • Production scheduling aligned to your releases — cross-border logistics handled daily
