Expanded Polyethylene (EPE)
EPE is the PE family's lightweight: expanded to low density, soft to the touch, and the cheapest closed-cell protection per cubic inch. Where PE plank protects against impact, EPE protects against contact — scuffs, scratches, and rub-through on finished surfaces.
It's the foam layer in our laminated corrugated, the wrap on furniture panels, and the economical pad between stacked goods.

Frequently asked questions
EPE or PE for my application?
If the risk is scuffing and contact, EPE. If the risk is impact and load, PE. Many packs use both — EPE against the surface, PE at the corners.
Does EPE come in rolls?
Yes — thin-gauge EPE runs in rolls for wrapping stations, plus sheets and converted pads.
