Electronics & ESD-Safe Foam Packaging

Electronics face two enemies in transit: impact and static. Our anti-static polyethylene (the pink foam) handles both — closed-cell cushioning that dissipates charge instead of generating it, protecting boards, modules, and finished devices from the line to the customer.

Pink anti-static polyethylene foam die-cut insert for electronics

Baja California builds televisions, appliances, and electronic assemblies at enormous scale, and IPS supplies that corridor locally: kanban-friendly quantities, bilingual support, and engineering that designs trays around your boards rather than forcing boards into stock trays.

Foam applications

  • Anti-static PE trays for populated circuit boards
  • Component and module separators for in-plant handling
  • ESD-safe case inserts for service and field kits
  • Layer pads for finished-goods cartons
  • Convoluted anti-static lining for totes and bins
  • Corner and edge protection for finished appliances and displays

Example applications

PCB shipping trays

Die-cut anti-static PE trays that nest populated boards in stacks — one tray design reused thousands of times across a production program.

Returnable tote dunnage

Anti-static inserts for returnable totes moving modules between plants in the Tijuana–San Diego corridor.

TV & display protection

EPE edge frames and corner protection for finished displays, laminated to corrugated where structure is needed.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between anti-static and regular foam?

Standard foams can generate and hold static charge as products slide against them — enough to damage sensitive components. Anti-static PE is treated so charge dissipates instead of accumulating, keeping boards and components safe.

Is the pink color a standard?

Pink is the industry convention for anti-static material, so handlers can identify ESD-safe packaging at a glance. Ours follows that convention.

Can you support a kanban or blanket-order program?

Yes — most of our electronics work runs as programs, not one-off orders. We hold your part numbers on file, schedule releases against a blanket PO, and deliver locally in Baja or across the border.

Do you make trays for in-plant handling too?

Yes — in-plant and inter-plant handling trays are a core application: separators, tote dunnage, and stackable trays engineered for your line and your loop.
